About TripMalta.com

Your complete guide to Malta, Gozo and Comino — hotels, beaches, food, history and everything in between

Who We Are

My name is Ian and I am half Maltese. TripMalta.com is a guide to the islands I am from — Malta, Gozo and Comino — written for people planning their first trip and for people who keep coming back.

It is not only mine. Sixteen people who have lived on the islands their whole lives contribute to this site: opinions, corrections, local knowledge, and in some cases editing. They come from Balzan, Cospicua, Mosta, San Ġwann, Msida, St Julian’s and Sliema, and they do not always agree with each other — which is usually where the useful detail comes from.

With thanks to Carmelo Borg, Joseph Vella, John Farrugia, Paul Zammit, Emmanuel Camilleri, Mario Galea, Anthony Micallef, George Grech, Mary Attard, Carmen Spiteri, Josephine Borg, Frances Vella, Rita Farrugia, Rose Zammit, Catherine Camilleri and Antoinette Galea.

The site is operated by BM Holdings and Investments Limited, a company registered in Malta. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us at info@tripmalta.com — we would rather know.

Our Content

New Malta guides go up regularly. Every one is checked the same day by someone who knows the islands — drafts are prepared early, then read, corrected and edited in the office before they stand. The contributors above fix what is wrong and add what a visitor would not know. Research tools help us draft; people decide what is published.

We only write about real Malta places and real Malta experiences. We are not infallible — anything out of date or simply wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

We recommend always verifying opening times, prices and availability directly with hotels, restaurants and attractions before visiting, as these can change. For events, the official Malta Tourism Authority website at visitmalta.com is the most accurate source.

Affiliate Disclosure

TripMalta.com participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means we earn a small commission when you book a hotel, tour or experience through links on our site. This comes at absolutely no extra cost to you — you pay exactly the same price whether you book through our links or visit the site directly.

Our affiliate partnerships include Booking.com, Viator and GetYourGuide. These partnerships help us keep TripMalta.com free and allow us to continue producing fresh Malta travel content every day.

Our editorial content is never influenced by affiliate relationships. We recommend places because they are genuinely good — not because of any commercial arrangement.
